I'm actively working on a breeding program focused on varroa-resistant bees. I use local instrumental insemination to isolate specific traits that improve bee strength and resilience for our local Jacksonville climate. This selective breeding approach helps ensure that the queens I produce are well-adapted to Zone 9B and capable of surviving and thriving in our environment.

All Nucs are 3 or 5 deep frames of bees with MATED and MARKED queens. Queens are locally adapted honeybees, mated in Jacksonville FL hardiness zone 9B, and are marked only after evidence of a good laying pattern. Through selective breeding for varroa resistance and local strength, each queen represents the best genetics from my program.
